Printree.ch is a small company with a big vision: With every poster sold on the platform, a tree is planted. But that's only part of the story. In 2024, a total of over 2,500 trees were planted, with a large part coming from personal compensation for my lifestyle. Only about 200 trees were financed directly through sales. In this article, I'll show you how we made these projects possible together, what challenges there were and how we can make a difference even in small steps.

2,500 Trees for the World
This year we were able to plant a total of 2,500 trees . Of these, around 200 trees were financed through poster sales. The remaining 2,300 trees came from my personal contributions to offset the CO₂ emissions from my household and my travels.
Every tree represents a small step towards a greener future. Whether it's reforestation projects around the world or the creation of new habitats - every contribution counts.

In addition to tree planting, a project to promote wildflower meadows was also supported in 2024. This created 10 m² of space that provides habitat for important pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Planting trees is the core of Printree.ch's projects. Here are a few highlights from the year:
- January 2024: Start of the year with the planting of 7 trees in the global reforestation mix.
- September 2024: 10 trees were planted in a regional project in the UK.
- October 2024: A major milestone with the funding of 100 trees for a global project.
- Personal compensation: A total of 2,300 trees were planted using my own resources to offset my personal CO₂ footprint.

On October 13, a project was completed that creates habitat for pollinators. With 10 m² of wildflower meadow , this is a small project, but it is of great importance for biodiversity.
The Reality: Challenges and Opportunities
The great contribution from personal initiative
The majority of the trees planted come from my own resources. As a small online shop, the turnover is not yet enough to finance many trees through sales. Nevertheless, I want to set a good example and take responsibility - be it for travel, energy consumption or other personal emissions.
Implementing projects is a learning process
Supporting environmental projects is complex. There are logistical challenges, but also financial constraints. Nevertheless, I believe that every small action can make a difference in the long term - and I don't let setbacks discourage me.
